Leadership Training: Stepping into Other People’s Shoes
An innovative approach to leadership training.
Some people in your team will resist change.
Some will set off in any ol’ direction.
Some will cope quite well… for a while.
Meanwhile you have to avoid resisting change yourself, stay focused and perform well under pressure.
Leadership through Change:
Stepping into Other People’s Shoes
is a one day workshop which borrows concepts and techniques from physical theatre in order to stimulate your creative thinking as you tackle the challenges that leading others through change will bring . The level of physical work will be tailored to each group. This course includes wellbeing elements as well as strategies for leading your team (and yourself) through change.
During the course you will:
- Discuss the stages and emotions individuals go through in times of organisational change.
- Create a range of leadership and communication strategies to address resistance and maintain engagement in your team.
- Raise your self-awareness in order to listen to your body and use physical clues to adapt to unfamiliar situations.
- Nurture your creativity as you link abstract concepts to workplace situations.
